This one has been sitting on my desk for 6 months because I was intimidated to paint it, but it was a fun one: a big multi colour dragon, Marduk the Tyrant from Archon Studio.
How to
Here I learnt:
- I used my airbrush for all main colours (ground/base, body, heads, wings…) except for horns, claws, eyes and tongues. I did not use any masking tape, and that was what I was dreading, but I realized it wasn’t needed… by forcing me to control my airbrush. 🙂
- Then a big brown oil wash instead of the usual Citadel Agrax Earthshade. The result is OK but I mixed it a bit weak, it might have been better if a little bit stronger.
- To conclude, some bright paint in the eyes, a big drybrush with a lighter colour in every part of the body and boom, done.
