I painted a few Dungeons & Dragons wannabe “heroes”, here is the group of legend (legends can and pretty fast :p):
On the left, a paladin who has miraculously not fallen (yet), but who do not believe in the light, healing and stuff… DPS & violence first. Then a goofy dwarf cleric, a rogue who likes flowers, nature & stuff (but who is not a ranger… figure), a “by the book” wizard, and their DM (a near normal monk, except that he wields a sword…).
The merry band of heroes against a classical D&D monster, a beholder:
And a nice way to end an adventure in blood, tragedy and ashes:
